About Marya O'Malley, M.A.
Rev. O'Malley was ordained an Interfaith Minister in 1994 at the Cathedral of St.
John the Divine in New York City after completing her Interfaith program of study
at the New Seminary in New York City.  The New Seminary is accredited
through SUNY (State University of New York).  It was founded in the late 1970's
to train ministers who felt the calling to an Interfaith approach.  An Interfaith
minister may be a member of any religion, but seeks to honor the common
bonds that we share as well as respecting differences.

Rev. O'Malley has also completed a 400 hour unit of training in chaplaincy at
United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She holds a Masters degree in Human
Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota as well as a Doctor of
Chiropractic degree from NW Health Sciences University.

Since her ordination in 1994, she has specialized in weddings and has
performed approximately 400 ceremonies.  She is certified in the Prepare
marriage preparation method,
